The Morning & Getting Ready
I often start photographing the morning by taking pictures of the details. It's helpful if these things are gathered and ready in the morning for me to photograph. This may include dress, shoes, jewellery, invitation suite, vows, flowers, both engagement ring and wedding bands and any other small things that you may want captured.
If you've chosen to hire a second photographer for the day, I will be with the bride in the morning and I'll send my second to be with the groom.
This is the time when we get to capture some beautiful photos of you, your love and your wedding party. Often times we begin with photos of the wedding party and then take the rest of time to focus on photos of just the two of you. While taking photos, I often work with prompts and will sometimes pose. The goal is to always have the photos look as natural as possible and reflect who you are! If you feel uncomfortable with something, or would like to get a bit goofier in the photos, or maybe more serious and intimate, please just let me know. This is about you and capturing photos that make you feel awesome.
After the wedding is over, I'll be sure to send you some sneak peeks about a week later. You can expect to receive the full gallery of images within 4-6 weeks of the wedding.
Your gallery will be available to view online but I'll also be sending you a package in the mail. Please make sure the address you provided in the online questionnaire is correct :)
A beautiful way to display and preserve the photographs you've invested in is by ordering an heirloom album. It's common for couples to receive their images only to have them stored away on their computer. I believe pictures are meant to be displayed and tangibly grasped. Especially when it comes to photographs that hold so much sentimental value. If you'd like to hear more about the albums and prints I offer, please get in touch :)
Thank you again for choosing me to be apart of your wedding day. I'm so excited! If you have any last questions, please let me know! I'm here to help :)

With just a short time to go until your wedding day, here a few last minute details and helpful tips to keep in mind.
We find it's easiest to choose the location of family pictures with a simple background as close to the ceremony as possible. Arranging for transportation to another location with all of your family can cause a lot of unnecessary stress after you just said "I do". This is the time to celebrate and relax. Let's keep things simple and shoot nearby. We will work off the family shot list you provided to make sure no arrangement is missed.
At dinner we are there to capture the laughter and memories made as you gather together with your friends and family. We will take a break from shooting to eat dinner, refuel and refresh before we get back at it. Thank you providing us a place to sit and eat.
I always recommend planning a 15-30 minute break for photos around the time of sunset. These photos are so worthwhile and most couples find they enjoy a few extra moments alone together amidst the excitement and celebration of being with their guests.
